The Friends of Shakespeare's Church

The Friends is a registered charity dedicated to the preservation, restoration and beautification of Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon, the Church in which Shakespeare was both baptised and buried and where his remains now lie.

The Friends exist to ensure that the Church is preserved for future generations of worshippers and visitors and provide an opportunity for people worldwide to join us as custodians of our shared heritage.

Regular events are organised throughout the year some exclusively for Friends and others open to the wider public.

These include:

Friends' Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations and Quill Auction!

Annual General Meeting

Service commemorating Anne Shakespeare

Annual Lecture
